A New Year Again.

WOW! I just remembered that I have a blog. It's been quite a while since I last posted something here.. Well, we've just been working a lot and not a lot of fun things to do. Work is okay but there's a lot of going on there right now for me and that's not good. Hopefully it'll get better. 

John and I both worked on New Year's day so we didn't really do anything there. New Year's day is generally sad and boring in this town anyway so I guess working is not such a bad thing. It's just been very very cold inside and outside of the house.. Our heater's not the best.

I miss the fun-filled places with colorful and loud fireworks. On New Year's eve, the houses would be filled with lots of good food and everyone's up and excited for midnight to come, lighting fireworks and making noises as we wait. *sigh*

Anyway, I've been sick for the last week and am just now getting much better. This place is turning me into a sickly person. I also feel a little dumber because of the people that I have to deal with around town. We need to move to a different state asap. Seriously.

We have new family members named Nibbler and Nugget. They are our new gerbils that loves to sleep and eat. They're so cute! 

They're both males. We got Nugget two days after getting Nibbler although they are from the same litter so they get along pretty well. They like to huddle together in their newly made cave that they worked really hard on even if they have a pre-made ball-like bed just beside it.  Weirdos. But I guess it's warmer in there and now they have a garage. ^__^

They have a wheel in their house but they never use it, they both don't know how to use one I guess. We're all still getting to know each other and hopefully sometime soon, they'll trust us enough not to try and run away. I would really like them to be able to just sit on my shoulder or just stay with me comfortably like we're long time buddies.

This is all for now, I'm feeling tired and sleepy already since it's midnight.

Lazy Bones

I'm currently on the 3rd day of my "4-days-off-bonanza" but all I've been doing is lazying around the house and watching videos of SHINee and shows on YouTube. LOL!

Am I wasting my my time off? Sure! But my husband works during my time off and then I work when he's off so we can't go on any sort of trips together. Also, I can't think of anything to do or WANT to do during these times so I just enjoy watching shows that I like online while I have lots of time to do so.

Anyway, I am really into SHINee right now. They're so funny, talented and amazing dancers..☺
I specially like Taemin ♥ but I like all of them.

Honestly, there's so much that needs to be done around the house but of course I don't feel like doing any of them. It's so annoying when I'm feeling like this.

Going back to work feels like a burden when I get long days off but I also like it.

On other news, we moved again and our new neighbors (that aren't the nicest) skipped town and the owners of the house are finally cleaning up their place. John and I took a peek in their house a last week and it looks like it's from the show 'Hoarders' on tv. Also, it smells deadly in there so I hope they really clean and sanitize that house. The renters that left also left 2 of their dogs there but they've been taken by the pound already. We feel bad for them because the owners didn't even leave them any food or water over there so John and I feed them and give them water once in a while. I hope they find better owners. I wanted one of them because he's soooo cute and nice but we can't afford another dog right now. Oh well, maybe next time.


There's nothing much going on in our lives right now. Basically, a lot of working and unpacking of boxes in the house is all.

I guess I'll post again when I have other things to talk about. ☻

I'm....busy....??

Yes, yes. Believe it or not, I've been busy working again. It's very tiring considering that I work for about 10 hours a day most of the time but it's okay. At least we're earning money again. It's so hard to be jobless. And boring too.


Anyway, I've been making some yummy treats for John and myself recently. I made "Puto" and "Piaya". I'll post a picture of the puto when I make it again later because I didn't get to take a picture of the first batch that I made. I do have some pictures of the piaya right here:



The filling that I put in this batch is Muscovado Sugar (Raw Sugar) but I think I'm going to try putting Molasses on the next batch to see if it'll work better and turn out like how I remember it. It's still pretty good though, I think.

LOL! Both John and I are busy working now. It's kinda sad sometimes now that we don't have much time together and we can't really make plans yet to go somewhere since we're still new at our jobs. It's really nice though at the end of the day to see each other and spend some eating and sleeping time. Hehehehe.. I'm pretty pleased though because we work at the 2 biggest work places in our little town. Yey! ♪
Ooh, and I also bought these a while ago.

I love Choco Koalas, Yan Yan and Fried Green Beans.♥ Lots more other ones of course. ☺



Hmmm... It's so cold in this house. I don't understand why it has to be this cold. I need a jacket! It's just funny that I go outside and it's 103 F and then I go inside and it's 70 F. I know it's not THAT cold but considering the difference, it feels like winter in here.



In other news, I found out not too long ago that the SM Town Artists are having a concert this month in L.A. It says that Super Junior, BoA and a lot more are going to be here and I was like, !!! But of course I can't go...... I'm so saaaaddd.... What luck.


Oh well, I guess that's all for now. I don't really have much else to say or any pictures to show as of the moment. I'll find something though. ♫ Till next post!
